My Netbook Reflection.

There are many reasons to why I really enjoy having to work with a netbook because using pencil and paper was cool but I didn’t really like writing with pencil because it was quiet slow to write. It is much faster using a laptop because all you have to do is press a letter on your key pad and it will type for you on your little screen in front of you. I like the fact if you can’t go on any web site on the net there will be a backup system on your netbook.

There are few reasons of dislikes of using my netbook and it has to do with problems. What I didn’t like about my netbook is sometimes it just doesn’t function properly and it plays up alot. Another problem was if I try to go on a web site it will freeze and load for long at the same time and I just get sick of it. Sometimes when I try to load up Firefox it takes for long and by the time it loads, there is 3 Firefox logos on top of my tool bar and I find it frustrating.

As we started to get our device there was a big different because it seem much easier for me to do my subjects. I think I have experience more things like improving in my maths and my writing by using this device. I find it easy to do my work on my laptop because when you do a mistake on your device you could just delete it, but if it on paper it will be hard to try erase it and it won’t look that neat. My other reason is that Study ladder as been building up my comprehension as well as Math whizz and that is cool because I’ve always been a guy that kinds of struggles and maths.

The biggest challenge for me having a netbook was trying not to get my laptop damaged at all. Definitely my other challenge was trying to charge my own without my mother doing it for me.

If the Netbook Scheme failed it would be very boring because it would be back to old school paper and pencil. It will be quiet hard to post interesting projects and presentation on our blogs if the netbook scheme failed and we won’t be having our own device to use during schools hours. I will very miss my laptop if the scheme failed because for me it manly helped me very much with my learning at school.

The Amazing Adventure To Camp Bentzon.

Camp Bentzon the best camp site ever!!. Getting to the island was a long journey for us to start our camp off. We had to travel by bus to Sand spit and it toke us about 90 minutes to get there. While we were there we were waiting for a few minutes until the ferry was ready for us to hop on board.

Sailing a water activity I mostly enjoyed with my group mates at camp. On my first go at sailing I didn’t know how to sail properly because it was the first time for me to start sailing. Before we were ready to get on our sail boat Peter the sailor instructor gave us some basic things to do while we our out enjoying our sailing. 1, when you are sitting on the boat you have to face your back to where the wind is coming from. I was a solar sailor which means sailing by your self. There was one thing I had trouble with and that was tipping over on my sail. Even though I didn’t know how to sail, I still enjoyed it.

Orientering a game that just amazed me!!. Walking in the woods trying to find the letters was just awesome because to me it was just like hiking the big hills. It took us about 20 to 25 minutes max to figure out the whole word for the game. At the end our group unscrambled the word and the word was four things that go on water that had something to do with camp.. The four things was raft, diggey, optimise and kayaking. Our team was really happy that we unscrambled the words because it was a really challenging game.

Swimming at camp was nice because the weather at Kauwau was a bit hot and we deserved the swim. It was really fun swimming with my friends because jumping off the pontoon together and doing silly faces was excellent. It was so fun that I wanted to stay in the water for a bit longer but I couldn't. Do you love swimming...?

I was hoping to stay at Kauwau Island for a few more days.

Doing the amazing activities and enjoying it with your friends will be up to the weather because if it raining we might be doing less games. If it sunny is will be just a awesome time spending at the island and enjoying. I hope the 4 days that we are there it would just be beautiful and sunny.

Camp Benzon sounds awesome and I can't wait to be there.

RWC Final 2011.

Rugby World Cup Final 2011!! Who would thought these 2 top rugby teams would make it to the Grand Final by having a long journey against 20 other teams. They were going to battle for the shiny golden cup... the William Webb Elise. This game was located in a Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand called Eden Park. Do you have any ideas who were the 2 teams in the Grand? Well let me tell you.... it was the hard breaking team France, and the mighty All Blacks.

The New Zealand side were ready to sing their National Anthem to the crowd and to the whole country of NZ. They were standing tall and proud because they wanted to do it for their supporters and for their family. It was a beautiful National Anthem because the All Blacks fans were singing together with the team. After a few minutes it was time for France to sing their National Anthem and they did the same thing the All Blacks did.

It was time for one of the best event of the games. Do you know what this event this is? It is called the HAKA and the All Blacks were going to perform their haka called the Kappa O Pango. As they were performing it, they did it with pride and with confidant and I think the best player that performed the haka best was Piri Weepu. While the All Blacks were doing the haka the French team were holding hands and moving up on the All Blacks. I thought what they were doing was a tradition thing.

The crowd was going WILD because it was time for the best thing the fans came to watch at Eden Park, the kick off. It was the All Blacks job to start off the Grand Final of RWC 2011, and it was Arron Cruden that had to kick off. As they kicked it the French team were giving it all they had because they wanted to travel home with the golden cup. It was a battle to the end against these two awesome rugby team that just wanted 1 thing they came after.

Suddenly the Stadium was just to wild because on the 15 minute the prop from the All Blacks Tony Woodcock just scored against the French team. They got that try by a tremendous line out from Kevin Mealamu just threw to Brand Thorn and from Thorn to Woodcock.

1 minute remaining the All Blacks fans were just starting to nail bite because they all thought the mighty AB were going to lose. As the time started to lesser and lesser the All Blacks fans were cheering because they knew New Zealand is going to take this comp out. As the final whistle blew the All Blacks were just happy and amazed that they won the cup.

Who wouldn't have thought the All Blacks had won by just 1 point.

France v Tonga.

There was a awesome clash against Tonga and France on the 1st of October in the 2011 Rugby World Cup and was located in Wellington. Did you watch this clash? Well let me tell you I really enjoyed watching it with my friends.

As the two teams came walking through the tunnel they were prepared to sing their National Anthem. When Tonga was singing their National Anthem they were standing tall and proud because they wanted to do it for their country and for their supporters. After a few minutes it was time for France to sing their National Anthem. As they were singing it they did the same thing as Tonga did, standing tall and proud, and doing it for their supporter, and for their country.

It was time for one of the best thing of the game, and Tonga were getting ready to perform it with pride. Do you have any ideas what the Tongan team were going to do? Well they were going to do the HAKA!! and the Tongan haka is called the Sipi Tau. The hooker for Tonga Aleki Lutui was the person who was leading the Sipi Tau. When it was time for them to do the actions the Tongan supporters were going loud and wild. The players were showing confidant and pride as they were doing the haka.

As the France team were standing in their position their first five were getting ready to kick off because the game was about to start. When they kicked it off the Tongan players were running so hard to try scoring a try but the French defence was on fire. It was a exciting match watching France and Tonga to see which team was going to score first. It was a battle to the end against these two awesome teams.

n the 30th minute the first five for Tonga Kurt Morath kicked it to the right side winger Sukanaivalu Hufanga and he catches the ball and went for the try. While Hufanger was going for the try there was a France player Julien Bonnaire ready to tackle Him but sadly he missed the tackle and the Hufanger was on his way to score in the corner. When the winger got that try the supporters were very happy and the coach as well.

On the 79 minutes the forward pack for France just got over the line, but it was to late because Tonga was still leading. When the game was finish Tonga got the victory over France 19 - 14 and the coach was very proud of them because Tonga beat France in Rugby World Cup history.

I didn't think Tonga will win over France.
