Cross Country

Nervously waiting on the cold hard concrete, I challenged myself to beat my mates at today's Cross Country. As I was sitting on the freezing court watching the races, I could feel whistling wind blowing against my face. Huffing and puffing, I was going to complete today's hard race. Crossing the finish line, I felt very dizzy and tired, but I was proud because I had won!.

Hi Samuela,
I love the clever vocab you have used to make your sentences in you little paragraph sound very expressive. Good luck for next year. Keep up the good work.

Hi Samuela, I am a student in Dr. Strang's class at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. I think your descriptive way of describing things is excellent! "the cold hard concrete" is a great example of all the description you gave. Congratulations on winning! I am sure you are very proud of yourself and you deserve to be! I hope you win again next year! :D
