Spending My Day At The Pools

Starting with a huge rain on Saturday morning was pretty terrible to start my nice day out. My cousin and I were planning to head out to the pools and have a nice time there. Unfortunately we couldn't go because suddenly the rain started to pour down again. Waiting for a come back from the sun all we did was clean our room!. As soon as we finished cleaning, the beautiful yellow sun raised up in the air like a colourful hot air balloon. We were so exciting because we were ready to hit the pools. Getting ready to do a huge bomb in the pools was very awesome because I like swimming in the cold swimming pools. As I got there the first thing I did was I went to pay myself and then walk over to the boys changing rooms. When we were ready my cousin and I went to have a nice shower before we go for a swim. The time has come as I was ready to do a bomb in the pool. As I bomb in the first thing I did with my cousin was having a race to the other side of the pool. I felt board staying in the inside pool so I raced out to the slide and kind of spent my time there with some of my friends I met there. I wish some time in the weekend I could go back to the pools with my cousin and spend our time there having fun. You should check out the pools some day!.

My Value Caring

Do you think you can see the value caring. That is the value I am studying this term.Do think you know what caring looks like?To me caring is helping people that really needs so much help..Is caring important to you?.I think caring is important because when you help people, it just a great thing to do.Do you think you have been caring to other people so far?.

To me I think that caring feels like it so happy because it helped someone that was hurt and he really needed such help.In a different way I think caring feels like,helping other people around your community.Caring helps us a lot because it helps us to succeed and that is really helpful.

I think that how caring sounds like is a bit tough but I am going to try my best because I think I can do it. Caring sounds like people cheering for other people because they were caring to each other around their community area.Caring for other people around your area that are really hurt is really helpful thing, because it helps them to success and that is very good.Do you want people to success.

Camp

On a fantastic Wednesday the year 5 and 6 camp team went to the pools at Panmure.It was also the last day for the year 7 camp team.How we got to the pools we went by bus and it was cool having a bus ride there.As soon as we got there, I wanted to jump to the water but I couldn't because I will be in trouble.First thing we did was to get changed ready to do some swimming relays against the other camp teams.While the swimmers were getting ready we had to get out our a little snack from our lunch and eat.As soon as the swimmers came out I was cheering for my friends hard out.When it was our turn to go and have a free turn I was so happy that I jump to the pool and hit my chest on the ground and it was painful that I nearly cried.

This movie is about me being in year 6 and my learning goal.I am so proud being in room18 because I have a really fantastic teacher.

My Reflection 2010

What I enjoyed most being in year 5 is going to the rugby trips. I really like it because you hang around with your friends for long. The thing I enjoyed learning the most is maths because I really like doing fraction with Miss King.
I wish i could have done more of doing blog post because I like going on my friends blog and commenting them. I think I could work harder on writing because sometimes I don’t even make sence on my writing. My best memories was when I went to Eden Park to see the famous rugby Leauge players and it was cool. I got to see the Kiwis Kangaroos, England and Babua.
My goal for next year is to be good at Maths because sometimes I get my Maths wrong

Monarch butterfly

Generation after generation the monarch butterfly lay eggs which makes a caterpillar that grows up to be a butterfly. When a Mother butterfly lays her eggs, it takes a few days then the caterpillar hatches out.

For a caterpillar to grow up, it eats milkweed leaves from the swan plant. A caterpillar eats milkweed for 2 reasons; 1 is that a caterpillar has enough energy to turn into a butterfly. The second reason is so when the bird comes to eats the adult butterfly is spits it out because of the poisonous milkweed.

After the caterpillar is full it goes to a tree nearby and hangs up side down and turns into a chrysalis. As it hangs up side down it waits for about 2 and a half weeks until the chrysalis turns black. After 2 weeks it hatches out of the chrysalis and a butterfly pops out with two massive wings.
