Character Description.

Tall like a tree my wonderful teacher Mrs Nua has blond hair. She has a nice smile on her face every day... But if you do something bad you will see the beast unleashed on the spot. Although Mrs Nua gets angry sometimes she is a wonderful teacher.
Mrs Nua is thoughtful and funny. She likes teaching us new things every day and she does it with laughter and makes it fun not BORING!. But  If you talk and don’t get your work finished you will get the eyes of doom! straight away.
Mrs Nua has coached a variety of netball teams. Mrs Nua should be a netball player herself because she is so  good at that sport. I don’t really like the sport netball but even when Mrs Nua is  teaching her netball, I noticed that she l teams she looks like she wants to play with them on the court.
Even though Mrs Nua growls us sometimes she still gives us the luxury of playing games. I like playing games with Mrs Nua because we get to play a variety of games. When we don’t listen to Mrs Nua we get the big eyes at us and the others laugh when it happens.

This is just a practise of my character description, next time you will be ready to see my real one coming up.

Kiwi Kick.

Finally!!!, it was our opportunity to go out and enjoy a game of AFL (Australian Football League). Filled with excitement as I was looking forward to play the game, unfortunately we had to learn some basic skills, BORING. It was boring for me because I was really looking forward to get straight into a game of footy. Before getting started with the game.  There were two awesome professional coaches that came to teach us. One called Sam (nickname Sandwich) and the other was Mike. After they introduced themself we had to go over a few reminders about the rules from last year.

Finally it was time to play a little game. The game was called Still tag. Still tag is a game about strategy and eyesight because you need to watch for your master to be tagged so you can run again. It was my favourite thing of the Kiwi Kick session.
Even though I am not an AFL fan I still enjoy playing AFL, because sport for me is awesome and fun. After our warm up game we were getting ready to play cat and mouse. The whole point of the game was if Sam blew his whistle and called out mouse then the cat have to try catch them and the mouse have to try getaway.  If he calls out cat it will be the same. Once Sam blew the whistle and said cat I quickly dashed off and tried get over the line before my enemy tagged me. It was funny because I would always run away from my partner and my partner will always complain.

I had a good experience learning the sports of AFL. I hope next time we could have some more fun!!.

Kiwi Kick.

On a sunny Thursday, room 22 and room 20 went out to learn about Kiwi kick or AFL ( Australian Football League)  where we learn how to play an awesome game and also how to do awesome kicks.

When we arrived to the courts we saw two guys that  were as tall as a tree one of their names were Sam ( Nickname Sandwich)  and the other guys name was Mike, after they had introduced  themselves we had to go over a few reminders about the previous time we had them.

After the reminders we got straight into but first we had a little game just to warm up our legs, the game was called in still tag, the instructions were : Tag anyone, but if you get tagged you have to sit down and watch their every move so when they get tagged you can get back up.

Soon after the game had finished and we were all warmed up, ready to learn new accurate kicking skills, after Sam and Mike talked about the basic skills they had told us to get into partners, each partner had a name I was named the Polar Bear and my partner was named a Penguin.

After a lot of fun kicking the ball around, we got put to the test by Sam and Mike, we had a little challenge between The Penguins vs The Polar Bears, we had to see who is the best kicking skills. The Penguins were the first team up they were pretty good but good enough it was The Polar Bears turn I was Everybody kicked the ball including with luck I managed to curve the ball and hit the pole and with that we had won.

We had beat the Penguins 12 to 16 making The Polar Bears the best, what a awesome day at kiwi kick, “I can't wait until next week.” I told my friends.

Artistic Style.

Throughout the modern art history art has been characterised by artists such as Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and Daniela Hulme. Over the period of time the style of their art became famous. The style that I’ve learnt about Vincent Van Gogh was to use rough rapid brush strokes and layers to make the effect. The artist that stood out for me was Vincent Van Gogh because his technique stands out from the rest.

In 1874 a group of artists called the anonymous society of painters launched the movement impressionism. Monet was a member of the group that ran the movement. The group was unified because of the independence from the official annual salon.

Vincent Van Gogh was a dutch painter. He was one of the most famous painters in the world... but he had little recognition with his beautiful artwork and only sold one of his paintings when he was alive.
Vincent Van Gogh was born on March 30th 1853, Groot-zUndert, near Breda, The Netherlands. When he was 16 years of age he went to hague to live with his uncle that was a art dealer. His own brother Theo was his art dealer. In 1878 he became a preacher in SouthWestern Belgium.

Henri Matisse style in art is known as fauvism. He was a french artist that used intense and bold colours. Matisse was influenced by the bright colours and the boldness. You would call these kinds of artists art critics because of the boldness in their style.

Pablo Picasso was born in Malaga Spain, 1881. Picasso’s style is referred to as cubism, his work deals with perspectives and angles. He is known for the backgrounds that he draws because they are random. In the twentieth century Picasso changed his style because he experimented with different techniques and ideas. Picasso was a Spanish painter, dutchman and scalped sculptures when he could.

During the time that I’ve spent on this piece of writing I have learnt about five different artists, which were Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse,

Sunflower.

Vincent Van Gogh was born is March 30th 1853, Groot-z Undert, near breda, Netherlands.
Vincent Van Gogh was a dutch painter. He was also one of the most famous painters in world history. This is my version of the famous sunflower painting's, the techniques that we had to use to paint the sunflower was small rapid rough brush strokes and try blend the colour in to make it look contrast. At the end of the product we were all overwhelm of what we produced and I was very proud of it.

Fauvism.

Henri Matisse was well known from part of a group of french painters and their artistic style of painting was known as Favism. Mantissa used bold colours and patterns. He had intense colour and rapid brushstroke in every painting he had drawn. Fauvism is a french word for " Wild Beast". He was also a famous artist in the modern 20th century of the art of Fauvism.Matisse tried to express as directly as possible from the excitement of nature. Most Fauves changed their style of art in the 1907 but the movement had a great influenced throughout Europe and Germany.

Immersion Experience About Pablo Picasso.

Pablo Picasso was in born in the 19 century on October 25 1881 in Malaga Spain. The way Picasso looks at his artwork is very interesting. His work deals with perspective and various angles. The style of Picasso is referred as cubism.

Picasso mostly spent his life time in Spain doing his painting. Picasso was most recognized with his artwork in the 20th century. He was a spanish painter, dutchman and did sculptures. On the twentieth century Pablo Picasso started to change his way of style because he experimented with different techniques and ideas.
